Located less than 1km from the village of Cordiñanes, on the road that joins Posada de Valdeón and Cain, this mountain viewpoint is perhaps one of the most visited in Spain, a mandatory stop for any hiker who approaches the well-known Cares Route.
It allows you to enjoy an exceptional view of the Valdeón Valley, the Central Massif of Picos de Europa, the area of Pambuches in the Massif Occidental and the village of Cordiñanes.
Also, as it is located in front of the spur through which the new Vía Ferrata de Valdeón runs, it makes it possible to marvel at the evolution of all the practitioners who dare to make the vertical and aerial itinerary of the ferrata. It was quite a show.
